Purpose-built neighborhoods and trained teams for residents living with memory loss.

How it works

Most families tell us the hardest part is knowing where to begin. Three steps, at whatever pace suits you.

Call the community nearest you, or send one message and we will route it. We will listen first and ask what has changed recently.

Visit in person

Walk the campus, eat a meal, meet the team members who would know your parent by name. Bring whoever needs to be in the room.

Plan the move

We work through residency options, financial disclosures and timing together, including continuing care at home through AgeSmart.

AgeSmart is LifeSpire of Virginia's statewide continuing care at home program. It serves members in their own homes across Virginia rather than on a campus. You can reach AgeSmart at (804) 420-1952.

LifeSpire of Virginia was founded in 1945 and has served older adults across the Commonwealth for over 75 years.

What levels of care can I move between?

Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Support, Skilled Nursing and Rehab. Each community offers its own combination, and the team at the community you are considering will walk you through what is available there.
